Julie Baur, Yaneily Gonzalez, Skye Figuero, and Kenedy Blough were each recognized for their outstanding performances and leadership throughout the 2025 season. Senior captain Julie Baur anchored the midfield and provided both offensive and defensive strength, including key goals and a composed presence on the field. Yaneily Gonzalez, known for her creativity and skill, brought energy and precision to the attack, contributing crucial assists and goals during the season. Skye Figuero showcased her versatility and determination, making an impact on both ends of the field with her relentless work ethic. Kenedy Blough, who opened the scoring in the Lady Knights’ regional championship victory, was recognized for her consistent scoring ability and aggressive play up front. In addition to the players’ honors, Coach Tristen Olvera was named the NCCAA Southwest Region Coach of the Year. Under her leadership, the Lady Knights captured the Southwest Region Championship and advanced to the NCCAA National Tournament in Florida. Coach Olvera’s commitment to excellence and player development has elevated the program to new heights, earning respect across the region.
