Coach Tristen Olvera
Head Coach
Coach Tristen Olvera brings a wealth of experience both as a player and Coach to our soccer program. A former collegiate goalkeeper, Olvera began his playing career at Mountain View Community College, where he also earned his Associate’s Degree, before transferring to Dallas Baptist University NCAA DII. At Dallas Baptist University, he became the starting goalkeeper and completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Following his playing career, Coach Olvera transitioned into coaching, beginning as an Intern Volunteer Assistant and Goalkeeper Coach at Dallas Baptist University from 2019–2021. He then served as the Goalkeeper Coach at Southwestern Adventist University from 2021–2022.
Since stepping into a Head Coaching roll, Coach Olvera has established himself as one of the premier coaches in the region. His accomplishments include:

Coach Olvera is known for his passion for developing student-athletes, his commitment to building strong team culture, and his ability to inspire players to reach their highest potential both on and off the field. He believes in using the game of soccer as a tool to build character, discipline, and leadership that extend far beyond the pitch. His vision is not only to create winning teams but also to prepare young men and women to succeed in life.
